Las Vegas, Nevada: Moe Greene, Las Vegas entrepreneur and recipient of the backing of one Vito Corleone, overplayed his hand in a classic confrontation with Vito's son and Don-to-be, Michael.The dialogue was controlled, but edgy. Michael simply states, "The casino -- the hotel. Corleone Family wants to buy you out." Moe, incredulously replies, "The Corleone Family wants to buy me out? No -- I buy you out, you don't buy me out."
The back and forth goes on with Italian slurs, references to cocktail waitress banging and slapping around a Corleone. Michael, cool as ever, leaves Moe with these words, "I leave for New York tomorrow -- think about a price." Moe, angrily replies, "Sonofabitch! Do you know who I am? I'm Moe Greene! I made my bones when you were going out with cheerleaders!"
